Too Much To Bear

When waking each morning seems a burden you cannot bear
Take a moment to stop and see, and lean on those that care
When life's worries pile high, so much you cannot take
Take a moment with those you love, and love them for life's sake.
It's not always going to be impossible, not always so hard
You can't live your entire life up in arms with a raised guard

Wake up each morning, with thoughts only of those you love
And give your thanks for the blessings, each received from above
Because everything will work out, will be fine one day soon
And you will look back, glad that you weathered the storm, made it through
As you enfold your darling children in their loving mother's arms
Being there to guide them through things to come, be they good or harm

You'll be glad you woke this morning, and every dawn thereafter
When you see their smiling faces, and your heart's filled with their laughter
Know that you are their one and only, their shining moon and stars
No one can replace the space you fill inside their innocent hearts
When bad things come upon them and its their world that's filled with tears
Yours is the only gentle hand that can stroke away their fears.

Those that care for you believe that you can make it through
And when they can, they'll add to their own loads, and try to help you
A safe harbor to gently tie off your soul is something you can have
If you can let go of your agonies and again learn to laugh
There will always be those who love you, always those that care
Even when what the world throws at you seems too much to bear.
